You must use every opportunity

Tips on how you can leverage existing blogs and websites
The following tips are always only food for thought. With a little creativity, you can find safe to push other ways of your new blog with the help of existing projects.
One must say that many of the tips depend already strongly the new blog is thematically related to the existing blog.
Typically, you have more possibilities if thematically close to each other are the blogs since then also the target groups are similar to.
But now to the tips:
- Advertising space
- News
- Left
- cross action
- overall content
- Pre launch in the old blog
- Participate in user
- Similar but also Verschieden!
- Editing old posts thematically fit
- Common feed or spanned Newsblock in the sidebar
Of course, you can use the existing blog as advertising area. A conspicuous banner takes already some visitors to the new blog.
It makes sense to write a news post on the new blog of course. If the audience about I, is the same it interest many readers. Of course, you should always honest and own readers say is an own new project.
You should link from the “old” blog on the new blog. But in both directions. Only from the old to the new blog. This can be in the feed in the footer or sidebar (blogroll). The best is still a link in the content. (see the point previously)
It is slightly more involved in two blogs, the new and the old, to take joint actions. So you could organize as a common competition. In any case it comes to draw your attention to the existing community on the new blog.
It is also possible across use content. Series of articles which take place in two blogs would be possible. You could but schreibn a detailed post on the new blog and just say to the old blog in a short article.
The marketing actions should already start before the new blog is at all online. You could hold Vorberichte, announcements, games, etc. and point to the start date of your new blog.
According to the own readership, it makes any sense contributing the existing users in the development of design and content of new blogs. Who should participate to will call then also definitely.
It often makes sense to have the new and the old blog some parallels. A certain recognition value can be very positive. However, the blogs should look where independently you not confused they.
If you already have articles existing audiences, which deal with the issue of new blogs, so should a few edit and accommodate links to the new project. Because such older items often well there in Google, readers of of this article which ideally equal continue clicking to new blog benefit in addition to the ranking of new blogs.
It makes any sense offer a common feed. But at least we should consider incorporate links to the respective other blogs the last 10 posts in the sidebar.
An existing community is worth gold
It has great advantages you can fall back on existing community. Each must decide whether it makes the rather subtle and adds a few older posts with links, or whether it falls with the door in the House and inserting a large banner.
You should be cautious in any case and not exaggerate. Because even if existing readers is like your own blog, too much self-promotion nervt eventually also the best reader.
However, we should not ignore also existing communities. The can provide very quickly who do clever his new blog with many new readers.
It is best but, if it is creative and asks the following questions:
- What is the new blog?
- Interested in existing readers for these issues?
- There are intersections with the readers?
- What aspects of your new blog (layout, content, technology…) might like the old blog reader?

However, his other projects are safe in the rotate the Internet, technology, and design. It is therefore certainly useful also recognise.
