Web Analytics white paper
Namics has released a white paper to the basics of Web Analytics. The document offers a very nice introduction and is also due on the important issue of KPIs. Not so nice, I find the comparison between the providers of Web analytics software. This is anything but complete on one and on the other I am missing a few key data for the evaluation criteria. The matrix with the stars is very flat and partly subjective. Also suggested including a recommendation for the evaluation of WA software, selecting the software is the panacea of Web Analytics. Who is however dealing with the issue very quickly determine that the software is secondary. Those who thus work and give appropriate Handlungsempfehlugen are much more important.
A tiny error has crept in among customers of the provider. Microsoft has WebTrends in use and not Omniture.
The bottom line but a successful entry-level work.
