“Make money” – blogs do not work?

A reader drew today me on a blog article, which I find very interesting.

It concerns the question whether blogs dealing with the topic “Making money with blogs” can make money even yourself.

Unsuccessful are “blogs monetize”?

At DOMAIN.COM the author deals “Earn money” – blogs at all can be as successful with the question.

He leads to some arguments I understand very well. However, not all and he draws the wrong conclusions I think after something.

His thesis that “make money” – blogs are a bad idea, he provides the earning potential has a make money blog compared to a blog which deals theme with a casual, e.g. vacuum cleaner.

I share his opinion that there are very little products you can sell on make money blog. There are hardly any affiliate programs in this direction and that is there are mostly not very interesting.

For a vacuum cleaner blog quite many affiliate programs are however, unless special party or the Department stores.

He also believes that the AdSense ads that appear in a make money are the purest rip off. Times apart from the fact that you can filter the view, I cannot agree with da limited him. Of course there are the “5000 Euro a day” ads here, but there are also seriösere ads.

For pure “Earn money” – blogs is the number of AdSense ads but certainly limited. Various known and less known affiliate popping up again for the keywords “Vacuum cleaner”.

So stay away from “Monetize” blogs?

I think the author overlooks something. He sees out there so many “Earn money” – blogs springing up shoot and believes that you can earn money with it.

I think it is rather because that is when it comes to “Make money on the Web” to a niche. And this niche definitely has a raison d ‘ etre.

However, it is like any other niche. Start just a blog and copy dozens other blogs is not enough. You need something own offer and withdraw from the competition.

Also we should consider exactly how you want to make money. And banner, affiliate marketing and AdSense are only a few ways by many.

As hundreds times :-) here mentioned in the blog it is essential to that distinction from the competition (and positively in the eyes of the target group) and that you be aware is that a successful blog means work. Work in the care of the blog, but also work at the monetization.

Conclusion

I would therefore not generally argue that a “Make money” – blog no way is making good money.

And nor automatically successful with blogs in the field, the author suggests at the end of his article.

Because to get enough traffic to a Finanzblog, there is also little Elf dust. ;-)

There are a few really successful and many unsuccessful blogs in all subject areas.

Who really wants to monetizing his blog, must know about the topic on the one hand and give you content you can, that are unique and he should find out how big is the competition and what make money there previously.

Then you can start a successful blog with enough energy and stamina (almost) every topic.

What is your opinion?
