Left of the week – Wikipedia top list, 101 website tips, new blog charts, and more
Today on good Friday we want not large complain but simply times back to look at a slightly shorter week.
There were a few interesting things I am met and I will not deny you. So go.
The top Wikipedia article
The question is always do I create a few large sites/blogs and I try my luck with many small Internet presentations. Both have advantages and disadvantages.
A good “Guide” for many small sites which do not in fact a lot of money for themselves but bring money to the total DOMAIN.COM found on the website. This is not a guide in the classical sense, but a current evaluation of the top Wikipedia articles.
Each month, the 1,000 most popular items are listed here, however, only for the English Wikipedia. But other languages will follow soon.
The Nice is that you could write based many small items on this list and escapes with a suitable domain. To that with a few hundred this top terms the total revenue should be already quite respectable.
But for larger blogs and websites a look at the list worth, find popular topics ideas.

101 Tips to improve website
Web sites are never finished and never perfect. This may be incomprehensible for the an or other Web design clients, finally he wants to buy a ready-made “product”. But Web designers, webmasters and bloggers know that there is always some improvements and optimize.
A very detailed and interesting list of small site enhancements are enough to do unto you for the next few weeks. Each of these tips should take 5 minutes time, which is partially somewhat optimistic.
The list is very interesting and every webmaster and bloggers will find what, he can work.
2 nice WordPress plugins
There are two new plugins for WordPress on friendsroll.com. Now there are even new plugins, but I think these two very good and useful.
Toplinks
This indicates the blogs and sites to which it has most linked in his blog. Thus it saves, manually creating a blogroll.

This is again about networking. This plugin allows the own Blogleser with your blog link and the URL in this list appear.
Both are really nice plugins which are also appealing. I will certainly times do both in the near future.
New blog charts output
The second edition of 1000ff Blogcharts is online. Still is not really clear to me how this list is created.
But because here the usual suspects on the top positions, there seems to be similar criteria such as in the other blog charts, such as e.g. DOMAIN.COM or DOMAIN.COM Charts.
Since the question of course, why then blog a more chart list.
As well as, “independently in the net” is now represented in all three blog lists and that is good for the ego. :-)
New Blogeinnahmen survey
“Germanys finest” has started a new round of his Blogeinnahmen survey. DOMAIN.COM you can specify its income anonymously.
This time, the questions are quite detailed. Safely, Robert wants to take a more detailed look when evaluating where is the money for German bloggers.

“the human-powered search engine” is on the home page of DOMAIN.COM
DOMAIN.COM will be the social search engine. It is therefore not bots and automated capture of Web content set to, but the user you want to recommend sites and evaluate.
The results are more than modest and I ask myself the question whether someone needs a search engine really. The collection of information by the user works, displays Yes as Wikipedia. But if a search engine can work the same way, I think at least questionable. In addition to a project requires many, many workers and also seems to shortage. The forums are at least very empty.
Because the similar Maholo project seems to work better. Also it looks better and I find refreshingly different result lists.

And a tip for bloggers. The SmashingMagazine has published a large list of calendar icons. So such small date displays, used almost every blog.
As you can see there is a huge amount of different designs and this one has linked a few templates that you can create its own date graphic.
Because it juckt me but equal in the fingers, to revise my date icon.
