Is WordPress 2.5 a failure? Here is the demo.
For the 20.Marz (there is also information on the 1.4) version 2.5 of the popular blog software WordPress has announced. Many see the date with a lachenden and a weeping eye contrary.
The reason for this is that, of course, there are a few nice new features. Also should have been worked on performance, so now everything runs slightly faster.

What awaits us in WordPress 2.5
Word press 2.4 was skipped by the developers. We wanted to not Schnellschuss, but a stable version with little bugs. It is normal that it again will be updates version 2.5 of course shortly after release. The proposed changes are much more interesting.

2.5 Word press and the optics
While the dashboard looks quite good and the new distribution certainly makes sense, already selected colors negative within the eye.
Verwaschenes light blue, and light grey boxes do not necessary contrast. Since the dirty Orange will not much help. Seen on this preview images.
Really bad I find as the most important page of all the page “Writing / write”. The various areas for the text, headline, tags, trackbacks, etc. are difficult to distinguish. Where beginning one and where stops the other.
It’s a real interface designer should times because it is a step backwards really rather.
Ansonten is currently not so much to discover what’s new in the admin. This may still change since yesterday feature Freese was made. New features are so assembled. This does not mean that there are all new features included in the demo. This were the case this would slightly disappointing.
