Google stopped “AdSense recommendations” and starts the “Google affiliate network”
After Google last year already has set the actual AdSense referals (i.e. the bonus credits for new mediated AdSense customers), Google provides its own affiliate program now “AdSense recommendations” a.
Why and why, learn her this in the following post.
Why are the “Google AdSense recommendations” set?
The “Google AdSense recommendations” function almost like an affiliate network. Many companies have joined there to products and services apply / sell.
As bloggers, you could there individual programs select and then make the appropriate advertising on your own blog. In contrast to the traditional AdSense you got well written an amount then per click but as per sale.
That the “AdSense recommendations” not much more than were a first test of Google in the field of affiliate marketing is really no secret. The system works not really fully and had even too many restrictions on use of the code.
Testing seems now over to Google. After it had acquired Performics, an affiliate specialists recently, yesterday the message was that it has renamed Performics in “Google Affiliate Network”.
It is therefore expected that this affiliate network will replace the existing AdSense recommendations. This is certainly point.
When will be and whether there will be a seamless transition in late August, is not known, however.
What does this mean for blogger
For bloggers, this change improves the end. The new “Google affiliate network” will offer secure more possibilities than the previous recommendations.
However, the blogger must remove first the existing recommendation codes to the end of August from own blogs and websites. And when then the new service will be is unclear. It can be so good that it here may be an extended period, where you can use any of the two services.
The message in the sent mail: “We thank you for your patience during the transition period.” already does indicate that there will probably be no affiliate offers Google a while.
Nevertheless I look forward to the new service, because Google wants to start the affiliate market certainly very large. Because something for us to play.
