Free Photo Based Textures
Of course, BittBox is offering lots of free photo based hi-resolution textures but few minutes ago I found another great source for photo based textures and if you are looking unusual textures/patterns based on photos, you should check LoveTextures. There are very interesting abstract photographs of various materials, plants, building or unidentifiable objects. Currently, the site has over 230 free hi-resolution textures and backgrounds to download, under the Creative Commons License.
