A number of former WebTrends employees believe that a quick sale of the company is imminent. They speculate that with its market share slipping, WebTrends management wanted to sell the company to its biggest rival, Omniture Inc., a publicly traded, $107 million company based in Orem, Utah.
Blatantly, that would completely throw the entire Web analytics market in just a short time over the pile and a mega Platzhirsch bring to light.
