November was really fast to, or?
Now is the time of advent calendar and galleries and it is again an evaluation of my Blogeinnahmen.
I will therefore not so much tell but you present the bare figures.
Was it enough for a new intake record?
Blog revenue in November 2008
The month of November was actually not so convenient to increase own Blogeinnahmen.
Finally he had only 30 days and all 10 weekend days (which bring bad traffic numbers). October, however, had 2 working days.
Nevertheless, I recorded a new intake record in November. After 975,71 euro in October came in November 1.204,34 euro together.
This is an increase of around 23% from the previous month. And although I could not quite reach the attendance of the previous month.
Because it has worked the 1,000 euros but faster with as intended. And the clear.
My blog earnings trend is definitely and so after many contact and the experiences of recent months pay off.
After 22 months (the blog started early February 2007) I have cracked so the 1,000 euros mark.
During this time around 730 articles about 7,000 comments and more than 600,000 words in my blog posts (plus again about 250,000 words in comments) together arrived.
That is now also noticeable altogether because each individual article brings visitors more, sometimes less.
Number of visitors in November 2008
After the very good traffic in October, something behind my expectations remained in November. At the beginning of the month a little slowed traffic.
Then the stronger two last weeks could no longer get that. Nevertheless, it has become still the second best month.
In November, 27.429 (29.135 in October) there were visitors on my blog. These are around 6% less than in the previous month.
The page views also decreased by about 6 percent to 54.639. The figures are taken from Google Analytics.
But that is on the basis of the grounds (1 day less, more weekend) Okay so.

AdSense earnings
I like AdSense. It accompanies me since my blog and provides relatively stable revenue.
However, decreases the importance of AdSense on my blog. The AdSense earnings remain relatively stable. You are while compared to October to around 30 euros lower down (206,82 euro in the Nov. / 238,77 euro in October), although clicks have remained about the same, but the proportion of the total revenue falls flat.
Currently there are only 17% of total revenue. A few months ago there were still around 30% or more.
This confirms what I have often said to AdSense again. It is certainly a very good choice for small and medium-sized blogs. But then it scales easily not more so well with.
And of course get other sources of income above a certain blog size, which are simply more effective.
We’ll see whether at some point the day comes where I no longer do AdSense in my blog. :-)
paid posts
I shoot a on 2 paid posts per month. In November, 2 orders came from Trigami (affiliate link).
This is okay because 2 paid posts per month with Security scare off no readers. These 2 posts have together brought 153,66 euro.
Hallimash (Affiliate link) have me while in November no order brought (once again) but oh surprise, there is a job for December. This is something new but times. :-)
All in all is okay this area even if it could be may still 1-2 orders more. But overall I am satisfied that this income was relatively stable in the last 3 months.
Affiliate advertising
Affiliate revenue were the large Knaller safely in November. Revenue rose from 127,24 euro in October to 468,01 euro in November.
Doing many small positions are helping of course their part. To zanox, DOMAIN.COM and AdButler (links) brought up each no huge amounts but the sum makes it.
The Amazon Affiliate rips off no trees, but contributes its share to the total.
The large bringer was DOMAIN.COM affiliate program. This brought a alone 290,-EUR in commissions.
I’ve used this service myself as I recently changed my auto insurance. Overall this provider looks very serious and therefore he emerges here in my blog.
Well obviously arrived my article health insurance for self-employed persons to my readers.
So if you would like to earn money with affiliate ads, I highly recommend the DOMAIN.COM partner program which. But of course must match the blog theme and it helps too if you simply builds an Affiliate banner, but writes an article.
Overall a very good month for my affiliate efforts. Now I feel well equipped to write articles about affiliate marketing. :-)
Direct marketing
My ad spaces were not quite as good busy in November. This has made also noticeable in the revenue. So I deserve anything less in November (375,85 euro), as in October (444,70 euro).
In the marketing of own banner places you have to stay just off. And in December it looks again very well.
Almost all ad spaces are occupied. Only the header ad space is still available. Who so short strike gets even a good Christmas discount. :-)

Shares of the individual revenue sources
To illustrate which the individual sources of revenue have meaning, I made this cake chart times.
The affiliate marketing had the largest share in November. However, I will get 290,-euro safely every month from an affiliate partner.
The sold ad spaces will rise again in December, well thats already foreseeable.
Interesting is sure how AdSense evolves. Continue to decrease the proportion should I then later may times could be used for advertising to the square currently occupies the AdSense ads.
And the paid posts vary but quite clearly even if the last months have been stable. But 1-2 write commands more, make as much.
eCPM development
The eCPM value specifies how high are the revenue per 1,000 PageViews. Since increased revenue and decreased the PageViews, it is not further surprising that the eCPM is increased.
Per 1,000 page views I deserve so 22.04 euros, representing an increase over October 22%.
I am of course very satisfied, it is the highest value since October 2007.
For the future it is to me to be about, while I upgrade my blog reach further.
Conclusion – Blogeinnahmen in November 2008
Of course I am happy I was able to increase the revenue so clearly. And there were included (such as the provision of DOMAIN.COM) the one or other good effect nothing so exceptional safely, but, I’ll completely crash next month.
So I’m quite confident that I actually quite weak December (due to Christmas holidays + new year’s Eve) yet again the 1.000,-euro can crack brand.
