Blog start series week 2 – the review
The second week of Blogprojektes is now over and Julius has published his weekly review on time.
This time was Yes to WordPress plugins and which I think to start a new blog for important.
Let’s but times what to made Julius the week. :-)
The recommended WordPress plugins
In my article to 2. Week of Blogprojektes Julius I DOMAIN.COM a lot of my eyes of very useful WordPress plugins proposed.
I put this plugin list based on my own experience together. It was not only a better marketing but also, for example an easier and faster using the WordPress admin.
The implementation
Julius has now published an Auswertungs article in which he goes through my proposals and implement.
Fortunately he accepts the proposals but not 1: 1, but makes his own thoughts.
Therefore he has installed the plugins some other not.
A plugin it as not installed, is the “DoFollow”-plugin. It removes the “nofollow” tag from the comments. His justification is fine because he does not want people only because of a back link to leave a comment.
At the same time, he says but later comment writing in other blogs the best marketing tool is current for him. He commented very much because of back links. But it also nothing is suspend if it is still a meaningful comment.
This method is very effective in any case for new blogs and I come back I again in the next Blogwoche on Monday anyway.
Interestingly he has listed a few own plugin tips I will sometimes see me. It learns from never. :-)
Conclusion
Although good content, of course, is the basis of a successful blog, you can do very much to the success of your own blog with the proper WordPress plugins. Content alone enough in the rarest cases. The competition on the Web is simply too great.
It is so important that it you dealt with the various WordPress plugins. There are always some really good new plugins which are worth a look.
For Julius, the first improvements certainly seem to have been worthwhile. Increase its admissions and the Feedleser number is up. However, I think that we can achieve some more in the next few weeks.
