Blog changes and new features
I have gefeilt in recent days a little to the layout and the content of this blog. It will be noticed already most, but I would like to sum up yet again what I why changed.
AdSense advertising
I have experimented a bit with AdSense advertising. I had a leaderboard (728 pixels wide) in the header for 24 hours and for 300 250 pixels AdSense display removed at the beginning of each Postes. However, floppte the leaderboard and I liked visually not particularly. So back to the previous layout.
New header
The previous header, so the area at the top was quite high. This I donating some space. I have now changed this by the header is not as high. This is more important content immediately after loading the site.
Also I have added a few new information in the header. There also the total number of posts and comments is now next to the number of users of who are visiting the site. For new readers, this should be a sign that the blog longer exists, new articles are published and actively participate in the reader.
New footer
I also reviewed have the footer. So far was only a link to the original authors of this WordPress themes. I have also included left it although I changed now very much the theme. Honor whom deserves credit.
In the new footer, I have incorporated 3 lists were previously in the sidebar. But which had become very crowded this. So I have packaged the “latest contributions”, “Most popular posts” and “Last comments” in the footer. There are now significantly more clearly see this information.
Top Kommentierer
I added a service for my top Kommentierer in the sidebar. There, the 10 fleißigsten Kommentierer of the last 30 days are listed now with PR4 link (no nofollow) on their Web site. So I would like to reward the users that participate here actively write comments. This list is automatically created and logically changes over time. Depending on who the most has commented in the last 30 days.
The current changes were to the first. But it is never finished with a website or a blog. There is always something to optimize.
