130 Participants in the WAW in Berlin

Words fail me a bit, but last night we have probably climbed a new dimension with Web Analytics Wednesday. Despite the beautiful weather, approximately 130 participants found their way in the St. Oberholz to exchange ideas with like-minded people.

WAW Mole2, was aligned and oragnisiert hot Timo and me. Made possible was a great event but only by the sponsors Trakken rocket Internet, Webtrekk, which have ensured that sufficient drinks were available in the scoria hell of Berlin for all participants. This definitely a big thank you to the three sponsors. At the short presentation of rocket Internet and Webtrekk was then immediately won the favor of the participants and each of the online environment change would like to report but equal times. Specifically rocket seems to make all honor the name as currently :-)

To give participants some discussion material at hand we had prepared a small presentation about social media analytics which goal was to combine activities in social networks with business goals and make them then also measurable. In contrast to past WAWs it was I think to offer very good a little framework programme, which we want to explain now an integral part of WAWs.

Highlight of the evening was the Mole2 Web Analytics quiz where in addition to current books by Timo and Marco Hassler an iPad 64 GB 3 g to win there, that has provided our sponsor Webtrekk kindly for this. Had to answer 10 more or less serious questions from Web analytics environment with four options were specified. At the end of the treasure question had to decide then when we wanted to know how often all Mole2 episodes have been downloaded to day total. The correct answer is incidentally 45651 times.

At the end of the iPad then went to Sina Zalando. Congratulations to once again and have fun with the new iPad.

The event enjoyed very much Timo and I and we look forward to future of next WAWs to organise. In Berlin we have the bar set yesterday but probably so high that we even do not believe to beat that even in the near future. But a clear: Web Analytics is no niche more!

We would of course very pleased, if you send us your feedback on the WAW either via email or simply as a comment to this post.

Finally a few photos from the event.
